Step 1: Educate Yourself

  • Learn about book bans, First Amendment rights, and local policies.

Step 2: Attend & Speak Out

  • Attend public school board meetings, School Advisory Committees (SAC), and PSTA meetings.

  • Share your voice to support access to books for all students.

Step 3: Spread the Word

  • Ask friends and neighbors: “Did you know books are being banned in our schools?”

  • Share educational resources and graphics via social media.

Step 4: Volunteer or Join

  • Sign up to join 451 Avengers’ grassroots efforts.

  • Help organize events, track book challenges, or assist with communications.
